New in Imaging: Motion X-Rays, State Compliance & More!
Don O’Handley will bring the newest technology to you in this class. The DDR ( Dynamic Direct Radiography), 17x48 full spine DR panel, Glassless DR panels, Trade in\ trade up programs and state compliancy will be covered. DDR is similar to a movie camera. The camera takes 15 individual x-ray frames per second to create the motion x-ray. The successive x-rays are digitized and sequenced to create a video representation of the movement of the bones. Join us to learn more about the new technologies and a chance to ask general imaging questions to a qualified instructor!
Thompson Technique with Dr. Rob Jackson
Dr Jackson will teach the complete Thompson-Derefield (leg length) examination and analysis protocol. He will present basic through advanced Thompson Technique adjusting procedures that have been added or modified based on the Thompson Technique Foundation board. He will also instruct on how to designate those conditions which may present contraindications to chiropractic care or specific modifications to adjusting in specific areas based on presentation of findings such as spondylolisthesis, pregnancy
or pathology.
This classroom and lab presentation will include hands on instruction of the Thompson Technique materials including leg check analysis, the 5 basic categories and variations that occur in each analysis, rotated sacrum, the lumbar spine, the dorsal spine, the cervical spine and extremities. It will also include modifications for pediatric, geriatric and pregnancy.
Evaluation & Treatment for Migraines Using a Functional Chiropractic Approach
Learn the causes associated with headaches and migraines from the chiropractic functional medicine perspective Headaches and migraines can have various causes, and their treatment may vary depending on the cause. In chiropractic functional medicine, the causes of headaches and migraines are assessed through a comprehensive evaluation.
Learn evaluation and treatment methods for headaches and migraines using functional medicine.. You will gain a better understanding of neurotransmitters and their relevance to headaches and migraines to better prepare a treatment plan for these patients.
New Laser Technology
Therapy lasers were developed to produce an efficient and rapid effect on pain, inflammation, and edema. These devices apply near-infrared light energy to a patient’s body for a period of time, and with settings that are appropriate for the condition being treated. The light generates photobiological reactions in the body to stimulate tissue regeneration, reduce inflammation, and decrease pain. Join us to learn the NEW up-and-coming technologies!
