The seminar is intended for the practicing chiropractor who would like to learn about:

 a.    The benefits of learning, doing, and publishing your research

b.      Doing research in a chiropractic office in particular

c.       Research methods in general

d.      Getting published in a peer-reviewed science journal

 About the speaker

Dr. Hart brings 30+ years of research and publication experience to this seminar with 80+ papers published in peer-reviewed science journals. The seminar will include:

 

·         Purpose and benefits of research

·         Conducting literature searches.          

·         Research designs, including those that are feasible for the practicing chiropractor

·         Examples of published practice-based chiropractic research

·         Basic statistics in Excel (attendees are encouraged to follow along in Excel if it’s available on
their computers as a method of learning-by-doing).

·         Steps in conducting in-office research.  

·         Feedback on ideas you might have for doing a research project in your office.
